At the visit, your child will have:


  • A physical exam
  • Blood tests for hormones, blood fats, blood sugar and bone growth markers.
  • Parents and children will also be asked to fill out questionnaires about quality of life, body image, self esteem and depression.

The study visit will take about two and a half hours.


Each child participant will receive a $25 American Express Gift Card for his participation.


Parking will be paid by the study
